The Council met in regular session with Mayor Miller,presiding, Counollmen,Bollman, Kimbrough,Mamford „and Rowland,present, and Oakes and Westoott absent.. Wm.Bills, repreensting the Continental Oil Co., asked for a corner drive for their Service Station on the corner of Mall and Blaine Streets. It was voted on motion of Bollmen, seconded by Rowland, that the matter be referred to a fall Comittee. A petition, sifned by Thos,Oochrane and others, asking for A Sewer Lateral between 2nd and 14th Avenues and in the alley between Denver and Elgin, was presented. It was voted on motion of M m2 ord, seconded by Rowland, that the petition be accepted and an Ordinance declaring the intention of the Council to oreate such a dtatrict be prepared and presented. It was voted on motion of Bollman,seconded by Bollman, that City provide Garbage Cane for the Park. Bill No.19 by Oakes, "entitled AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.III, ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.93,RELATING TO LICNNSBS AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF” was read for the first time. B111 by Rowland, "ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE INTENTION TO CREATE AND ESTABLISH LOCAL LATERAL SEWER I12ROVE1= DISTRICT NO.II, IN THE CITY OF CALDWELL,COUNTY OF CANYON, STATE OF IDAHO, FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTING A SUITABLE SEWERAGE SYSTEM THEREIN, FIXING THE SPECIFIC BOUNDARIES OF SAID PROPOSED DISTRICT,THE GENERAL CHARACTER OF THE SAID I12R0YMONT DISTRICT, AIM THE ESTIMATED COST OF TEE SAME, AND PROVIDING FOR SUCH COSTS TO BE 48SESSED AGAINST ALL THE PE02BETY INCLUDED WITHIN SUCH DISTRICT, AND PROVIDING THAT THE COST AND EXPENSES OD SAID IMPROVEMENTS MADE IN THE SPACES FORMED BY THE JUNCTION OR INTERSECTION OF STREETS AND AVENUES AND IN THE SPACES OPPOSITE ALLEYS IN SUCH DISTRICT SHALL BE BORNE BY THE PROPERTY ABUTTING, FRONTING, OONTIGUOUS,OR TRIBUT* ARY TO SAID INTERSECTION, AND SHALL BE A LIEN ON:SAID PRIPE3TY THE SAME AS ANY OTHER ASSESSMENT AGAINST SAID PROPERTY IN SAID DISTRICT, AND FIXING THE TI12 WITHIN WHICH PROTESTS AGAINST SAID PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS MAY BE FILED IN THE OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK, AND DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE SAID CITY OF CALDWELL TO PROVIDE FOR THE PAY1= OF THE COST AND EXPENSES 03 SUCH IMPROVEMENT, BY ISSUING IMPROVE PIENT BONDS OF THE.
