the Bill as directed. The question than being "Shall Bill No. 2, pass?" The Mayor direet-
ed the Clerk to call the roll on the above question which resulted as follows: Those vot-
ing in the affirmative were: Mumford, Boynton, Fenrich, Hollingsworth and Montgomery.
Those votim.in the negative: None. Absent and not voting: Oakes. Thereupon, the Mayor
declared Bill No. 2, had passed, and the Mayor in open session of the Council duly signed
and approved the Bill, and the Clerk duly signed and attested the same which became Ordina
537; The Mayor directed the Clerk to make prc$ter entry of the same and to cause.Ordinance
No. 537, to be published in the Caldwell News - Tribune, the official newspaper of.the City
of Caldwell, Idaho.
-The Clerk read a letter from O.A.Stengel asking for the cancellation of taxes
on the N.E. * of lots 8 to 12 of Blk., Deveral Addition. This matter was left on the tabl

motion duly seconded and carried declared adjourned.

8:00 P. M.
-The Regular Monthly ffieetirig of the City Council met in the C,,uncil Rooms of the
City Ball; with the Mayor Emery L. Vassar, presiding.
.On Roll Call the following Councilmen answered present: F.D. Mum£ord, W.S.Boyntc
and.G.' M. -Fearich. ' Absent: Edg::r 1. Oakes, W.R. Hollinga:vorth and G.W. Montgomery.
.The Minutes of July 6th., and 27th., were read and approved -as read.
.Mrs. Zada Nis appeared before the Council and asked thtit the Kitten Ball Field
be moved. The Mayor appointed the Chief of Police to Investigate this matter.
THEREUPON, Mr. Bert Mumford appeared before the Council with a blue print of the
architects" plan of the seating arrangements to be placed in the new auditorium in the
Caldwell High School, and the details of the same were gone into by the Mayor and Council.

•Be it resolved thatthe seating arrangements of the ideal Caldwell High School
Auditorium as shown by the blue print of the architectst sketch be and the saute is hereby
approved:. and moved the adoption of the Resolution which motion was duly seconded by
Councilman, W.S.Boynton. Vote was had upon the said motion and all the Councilman present
voted in favor of and none voted against it.
An Affidavit of Publication of Ordinance No. 536 was read by the City Cl -rk.
The Bills for July were read and on motion by Boynton, seconded by Fenrich that
here Bills be allowed and Warrants be erdered drawn for the Brarious amounts all of which
