The Council matdtn regular sesslon,August 2nd, 1 026 at 8 F.M. with Dr. Keley, Mayor,
Presiding, Councilmen,Cotley,Dutton, Simbr ^ugh, and Mumford, present, and MoConnel andI"eeler,
absent.
C.W.Peek,- representing the American Legion, requested oonoeesio:68 for the week duri
the Rodeo in Septemeber. This matter was referred to rimbrough.for investigation, and report
back to the Council.
A petition , signed by J.H.Altizer and 7 others, requesting the extending of the Watflar Works
to the Hall and Apperson Addition, was referred to the 'Hater !7orks Committee for invest at ion
and report back to the Council.
A petition, signed by E.Delyria and ethers, requesting the placing of street lights n the
- corners of Maple Street and College Avenue, and also on Linden Street and College Avenu This
matter was referred to the Street Cacmitteeman, Dr. E.E.Dutton.
It Was voted on motion of Rimbrough, aeconde' by Dutton, that theta ater '!'orke Co ttes
purchase a truck for t'ce e ater ':'forks Department.
7t was voted on motion of Kimbrough, seconded by Dutton, that the following bills as
