COUNCIL CHAMBERS, JULY 29, 1929,

Council met in regular session persuant to adjournment July 26, 1929, with
Mayor 11060 nei presiding and dounoilmen DICKENS, GORDON, JOHNS, LSIGHTY AND SANDMBYER,
PRESENT. ABSENT: BOLrA=.
BILL 30. 2 by Leighty was read second time an full.
Motion made by Sandmeyer, seconded by Leighty. that-the rules requiring a bill
to be read on three separate days be suspended, and that Bill No. 2 be read third time
in full and placed on its final passage. On the question as stated the Mayor directed
the Clerk to call the roll with the following result;
AYES; DIOXIN, GORDON, JOHNS, LEIGHTY AND SANDMIYER.
NAYES: NONE. ABSENT BOLLMAN. The Mayor deolared the motion carried by the necessary

its fins). passage. On the question as put by the Mayor, "Shall Bill No. 2 Pose "? The
Clerk vise directed to call the roll with the following result:
AYES: DICKENS, GORDON, JOHNS, LEIGHTY AND SANDMEYEH.
NAYES: NONE. ABSENT: BOLLMAN. Whereupon the Mayor declared the motion passed and
Bill No. 2 now became Ordinance No. 469. The dlerk was directed to Gauge same to be
published in the Caldwell News - Tribune the official newspaper for the City of Caldwell,
and recorded in the Book of Ordinances. The Mayor and Clerk approved and signed same
in open session of the Council.
W. F. Tatum presented a petition signed by 6 property owners and residents in
the vacinity of Tenth Avenue and Elgin $treat asking that a street light be installed
at the intersection of Tenth Avenue and Blgin Street. The matter was referred to the
$treat Committee to investigate and report.
It was voted on motion of Sandmeyer, seconded by Dickens, that the City
be inst mated to advertise for bids for oiling streets in Local Street improvement Dis-
trict No. 7.
BILL NO. 4 BY GORDON, ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF ORDIIPANOE
NO.444 OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, ENTITLED TAN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 37 OF ORDINANCE
NO. 413 entitled 'AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE REGULATION OF TRAFFIC ON THE STREETS,
AVENUES ALLEYS AND PUBLIC PLACES OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO, PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR
THE VIOLATION THEREOF; AND REPEALING ORDINANCE N0. 286 277 AND 360, AND ALL ORDINANCES
AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.° RELATING TO TIME, PLACE AND MANNER OF
PARKING ON CERTAIN STREETS SPECIFIED HEREIN; ADDING THREE NEW SECTIONS TO SAID ORDINANCE
NO. 413 TO HE KNOWN AS SECTION 37A, 37A, and 370; PROHIBITING "U" TURNS ON BRITAIN STREE'T'S
HEREIN MENTIONED; PROHIBITING PARSING AT ALL ON CERTAIN STREE'T'S BETWEEN CERTAIN HOURS;
REGULATING TRAFFIC ENTERING AM LEAVING ALLEYS; AND REPEALING ALL OTHER ORDINANCES IN

Motion was made by Sandmayer. seconded by Dickens, that the rules requiring a
