Council met in regular session pursuant to adjournment with Mayor Gowen presiding and Councilmen Deve , Farrar, Cartin, Barris, Paynter, present; Shorb, Clerk. Mr. Steetle appeared and asked that tLe laying of cement walk before:Bloek 26 on 11th Avenue be postponed for another year, claiming tiu.t tlia walk is it good condition. The matter was referred to the City rngineer. Councilman Clark enters. TT. Y. Maxey appeared an.i asked that, the City put in a ditch at, his place that to could water his lawn. The City Engineer agreed to attend to the matter. Matter of pumps for the city water system. was discussed and it was decided that the ones advised end ordered by the City Engineer be the ones used. A motion wan made by Clark that the Ftreet Committee be empowered to investigate and purchase a street sweeper. The roll boing called on the motion, the vote resulted: - Ayes -- Clark, Devers, Farrar, Cartin, Barris, Paynter-6. Nays and absent - -0.
