It was voted on motion of Mumford, seconded by Hoffman, that Oounoil adjourn
to July 23, 1928.

Oounoil met in regular session persuant to adjournment of July 9, 1928, withActii
Mayor XMWORDpreaiding and the following Councilman present: DAVIS, DUTTON, HOFFMAN,
JACKSON AND =ORD. ABSENT: MOOONNEL AND MAYOR DUNLAP.
It was voted on motion of Hoffman, seconded by Jaokson, that the following
bill as approved be allowed and warrants ordered drawn on the various funds, to -wit:

Total amount of all warrants drawn amount to 0713.84.
The Clerk read a letter from Tracy Gas do., San Francisco, Calif. under date
of July 14, 1928, asking if the City would be interested in granting a franchise to sup-
ply the city with gas for heating and cooking. The $lark was instructed to answer the
letter, stating that the Mayor and 4ouncil would be interested in having a representative
come and look over city with that object in view.
A letter from Mrs. M. T. Rusoul, Meridian, Idaho,. R. D. #3, as one of the ladle
attending the Dairy Day and Egg Day celebration, calling attention to the need of more
rest room accommodation at Memorial Park. The letter was ordered placed on file.
Mayor Dunlap came into the meeting.
The resignation of Dr. J. W. Gus , City Physician, was read. It saw voted on
motion of Hoffman, seconded by Jackson, that the resignation be excepted, and that a
letter be written to Dr. Gus expressing the appreol ation of the Mayor and Council for ti:
efficient services rendered as Sity Physician.
M was made by M=ford, seconded by Hoffman, that the rules requiring a
bill to be read on three separate days be suspended, and Bill No. 20, By Epmford, be read
second time by title, third time in fall and placed on its final passage. The Mayor
directed the Clerk to call the roll with the following result:
AYES: DAVIS,DUTTON, HOFFMAN, JACKSON AND MUMFORD
NAYES: NONE. ABSENT: MCCONNEL. Whereupon bill No. 20 was read second time my Vitle,
third time in full and placed on its final passage.
On the question as put by the Mayor, "Shall Bill No. 20, pees?" the Clerk was
directed to call the roll with the following result.
AYES: DAVI U DUTTON, HOFFMAN, JAC&90N AND MUMFORD.
NAYS: NONE. ABSENT: MCCONNEL. The Mayor declared the motion had carried, and Bill
No. 20 now became Ordinance No. 466. The same was signed and approved by the Mayor and
Clerk. The Clerk was instruoted to record same in Book of Ordinances, and be published
in the Caldwell News - Tribune the offical newspaper of the City of Caldwell, Idaho.
It was voted on motion of Jackson, seconded by Mumf ord, that Council Adjourn to
July 30, 1928, at 6:00, 1 M.
