FOR, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING ON THE FIRST T930DAY IN MAY, 1929. PERSUANT TO THE
PROVISIONS OF SECTION 3940, IDAR COMPILED STATUTES, AS ARMED BY CHAPTER 167, LA.S OF
1928 OF THE STATE OF IDAHO, AND AS AMERM BY CHAPTER 188, LAWS OF 1927 OF THE BTjTB OF
IDAHO; AND SECTION 4063.. IDAHO COMPILEDSTATUTES, AS AMENDED BY CHAPTER 129, LAWS O71921
OF THE STATE OF IDAHO ", was read the first time in full.
It was voted on motion of Dickens, seconded by Johns, that bounail adjourn to
July 22, 1929.

Ooanail met in regular session persuent to adjournment of July 15,•1929, with
Mayor Mcfannel presiding and Souncilmen DIOEENS, GORDON, JOHNS, ADD LEIGHTY, PRESENT.
ABSENT: 'BOLLMAN AND SAN1113 R.
W. H. Hedway appeared before the Mayor and Council asking for permission to
oonetract an ironclad building on lots li and 12; block 89, Original Townsits, to be
used by A. D. Grimes and Hose Rice for pooking and shipping purposes, which proposed
building being in the firs limits.
It was voted an motion of Eiokene, seconded by Johns, that the dity Jittorney
be i etracted to draw an ordinance amending the Building Ordinance permitting certain,
kirof temporary buildings to be erected within the fire limits.
It was voted on motion of Leighty, seconded by Gordon, that donnoil adjourn
to July 26, 1929.

Council met in regular session perauant to adjournment July`22, 1929, with
Mayor Modomnel presiding and Councilmen DIOXINS, GORDON, JOHNS, LEIGHTY AND SANDUMB,
PRESENT. ABSENT BOLLMAN.
Jim Welters appeared before the Mayor and Council asking parmissi to ereet
a fruit stand at 916 Cleveland. The matter was referred to the Building Igepeoter.
RESOLUTION 10. 6, BY DIORENS, was presented as follows:
"WHBR88S, On the 17th dey of August, 1928, the City of Caldwell, issued call -
for bids for the oonstrmotion of certain improvements within Local Improvement District
No. 8 of said City, and
"WHEREAS, J. H. Forbes was the successful bidded, and
"WHEREAS, The contract for construction of said improvements was awarded to
amid J. H. Forbes;
"ROW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Mayor and City Council of the dity of
Caldwell, as follows:
"Section 1. That the Mayor cad of the City of Caldwell, be and he hereby is
authorised for and on behalf of the City of Caldwell, to enter into a contract with J. H.
Forbes for the oonstruction of said improvements, according to the terms, specifications
and conditions provided in that certain contract which is attached to the plane and
