Bill No. 64 by Payntefp entitled, "An Ordinance regulating plumbing, ventila-
tion, and drainage of buildings; to provide for a building inspector, to define his
duties and authority, and to regulate salaries and fees; to provide a board of
examiners, and to provide for an esaminat.ion and reeletration of plumbers; and to
provide penalties for the violation of t} -is ordinance", was read the first tame.
A motion was made by Farrar that the rules be suspended and that the readings
on three separate days be dispensed with and that Bill No. 64 be read the second
time by title and the third time in full and placed on its final passage. The roll.

July 19, 1910. Council met in I'Hgular session, pursuant to- ad,jolirnment
wish Mayor Gowen presiding, and Councilmen Devers, Farrar, Gartin, Harris, Paynter,
present; Shorb, Clerh.
A motion was made by Farrer that the Clerk be instructed to notify the Utah
Savings & Trust Co., of Salt Lako City, tlnt the bond for 125,000.00 of the James
Kennedy Construction Co. on Sewerage Improvemant District ]lo. 3, of the City of
Caldwell, Idaho, be and the carne is hereby released. The roll being called on the
motion, the vote resultant

R. W. Oakes made verbal 111uiry about a certain foot bridge ordered in seoral
mobths ago along the east side of Foutteenth Avenue, the matter was referred to the
Street Committee.
A motion was trade by Tartar that the water tower to be erected. on Canyon Hill
as a part of the water .corks system be 7 feet high. The roll being called on the
motion, the vote resultede

Petition of Frank Tlardy, et al, praying that "Fillmore Street between Seventh
Avenue and 'Kimball Avenue be opened to the full width of the street - -80 feet -- that
the street may present a uniform and pleasing appearance," was read.
Voted, on motion of Farrar, that bids be received for the construction of
sidewalks embraced fi n Resolution No. 56, to be opened at 6 p. m, August 1P, 1910.
The City Engineer was instructed to make a survey on the Devers place to locate
a suitable place for a test well.
Voted, on motion of Harris that Council adjourn until Monday July 25, 1910.
