The Mayor asked if'there was any one present that deq ;red to be
heard on the matter of the proposed estimate and. taz levy. There wag no one
to speak either for or against the proposed estimate. The Mayor and Council
took the matter of proposed estimate and tax levy under oomsideratiaa.
Thereupon Ocuncilmam Bollman introduced Bill no. 16 by Boliman

No. 16, be read the second time by title and the. third time in full. The Mayor
directed the Clerk to can the roll on the question as stated, whioh resulted
as follower Those voting in the affirmatives Bol men, Dickens, Gordon,•Johns,
Leighty and .Sandmeyer, Those voting in the Negative. None. Absent and not voting,
None. The Mayor declared the faction had carried. by the necessary three- fourths.
majority and directed the clerk to read Bill No. 16, the second time by title
and the third time in full section by section. The Clerk read the bill as
directed. On the.question as put by the.Mayor, "Shall Bill No. lb passTe

Remarks by Mre I, M. McCarthy and Mr. A. L. Hyde in regards to the
Highway to Mareing.
Motion by Bollman and seconded by,Gordon. That the Mayor appoint
a Committee to wait on the;Pioneer Irrigation District directors. Motion carried.
The Mayor appointed, Dickens, Bollman in conjunction with City Attorney and
City Engineers _
