J. Barnes, representing the Standard ell Company, of California, appeared before the Council an requested that Bill No. 6 be brought up for further consideration. Thereupon a motion was made by Wheeler, seconded b„ that all rules reouirine the reading of a bill on three s parate days be suspended and that gill No. 6 be read the second time by title and the third time in full and placed on its final passage. The ?Mayor caused the Clerk to call the roll on the mat on with the following result: Ayes: Conley, yutton, :'umford, — oConnel, Wheeler. Nayes: Non . Absent: limbrough. The clerk presented a form of contract, dated June 23, 1925, between the City of Caldwell and 3. E. Bowman and Ed. Matheson, for the use of the rock crusher and equipment belonging to the Ci1V and which had heretofore been executed by the Mayor and Clerk, for and on behalf of the city. It was moved by Dutton, duly seconded by Conley, that the execution of the contract between the City of Caldwell and 3. E, Bowman and Ed. Ifatheson for the use of the rock crusher and equipment belonging o bhe city, b: the Wayor and Clerk of the City of Caldwell, be and the same is 1B reby ratified d confirmed. ]Motion carried. i The matter of paving between Caldwell =nd -damps Came up for diseussinn, and the Layo instructed the Clerk to write a letter to the Commissioners of Namps Highway District, the Mayor and city Council of taampa, and the County Commissioners of Crnyon County, suggesting a conference for the purpose ofdetermiming procedure in connection with such paving. It was moved by Conley, duly seconded by Dutton, that the Council adjourn. Lotion Carried. Thereupon the meeting adjourned to reconvene on Tuesday, July 14, 1925, at 12:00 o'clock noon.
