The Council met pursuant to call and acknowledgment of notice in the following form: CALL AND ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF NOTICE We the undersigned Mayor and Members of the City Council of the City of Cald - well, Idaho, do eacch !: hereby acknowledge notice of a special meeting of the said City Council to be held at the Council Chambers, in the City Hall in the City of Caldwell, Idaho, on the 12th, day of July, 1957, for tle rransaction of all business in connection with the following object: Civil Defence Operation Alert, which ob6at was presented il! to each of the undersigned in writing. Vassar, Emile Shorb, Max Luby, L. P. Eldredge and Leland Finley. Absent:Fran Blomquist. The Mayor informed the Council the meeting was called in compliance with the Civil Defense Operation Alert. The alert was given at 10:30 o'clock A. M. the Council was in session at 10:115 A. M. . The Mayor declared an emergency and the Council was prepared to take any steps necessary. Therbeing no further business to come before the Council it was moved by Councilman Luby, seconded by Councilman Finley that Council adjourn. Motion carried. Manor. M. on the 17th day of July, 1957, for the transaction of all business in connection with the following object: To discuss available sites for new industries, which object was presented to each of the undersigned in writing. Vassar, Fran Blomquist, Max Luby, L. P. Eldredge and Leland Finley. Absent: Emile Shorb. Mr. A. C. Garber, representing the Chamber of Commerce and Councilman Finley discussed available sites for new industries interested in locating in Caldwell . Mr. Garber asked if there were any sites available at the Airport.
