We, the undersigned Mayor and Members of the City Council of the City of C Idaho, do each
hereby acknowledge notice of a recessed meeting of the said City Council, to be held in the Council Chambers
in the City hall in the City of Caldwell, Idaho, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P. M. on the 10th day of July
1961, for the transaction of all business in connection with the following object: Nearing protests to the
Estimated Budget, which object was presented to each of the undersigned in writing.

Due to the absence of Mayor Ed Si:mrerman, President of the Council E. L. V presided.
Acting Mayor Vassar informed the Council the meeting was called to hear protests to the Estimated

WISE PROVIDED FOR, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING, THE FIRST DAY OF MAY, 1961, PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS
OF SECTION 50 -1915, IDAHO CODE.

AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ASSESSMENT AND LEVY OF A TAX FOR GENERAL REVENUE PURPOSES FOR PAY-
ING THE CURRENT EXPENSES OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, CANYON COUNTY, IDAHO, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING THE
FIRST DAY OF MAY, 1961.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Council of the City of Caldwell, Canyon County, Idaho:
Section 1. That there is hereby levied undo all the taxable property within the City Limits of the
City of Caldwell, Canyon County, Idaho, for general revenue purposes for the fiscal year beginning the first
day of May, 1961, in addition to other taxes heretofore levied, the following taxes and assessments, to -wits
For the General Fund 23 mills on every dollar of

Application for Pool License was read from the Waldorf Cigar Store, the fee accompanying the Ap-
cation.
Moved by Councilman Vassar, seconded by Councilman Luby that this License be granted.
Upon Roll Call it appeared the motion was unanimously carried.
There being no further business to come before the Council it was moved by Councilman Smith,
onded by Councilman Bates that Council recess to meet July 17, 1961. Motioncarried.
