That the approval of the F:a-or and Council of the City of Caldwell is hereby given lj to the proposed Ridge Route, as modified, of the pending interstate hi; project. Section 2. That notice of tid s approval, and a cony of this resolution be sent to the Idaho State' II Highway Board by the Clerk of the City of Caldwell. Upon Roll Call those voting in the affirmative ere: Luby Shorb and Finley. Negative: Vassar, Absent. and not voting: Eldredge and Blomquist. There -non the Yayor declared the motin carried by the necessary three - fourths majority and the I Resolution. adopted. The Eayor an raked the apoointment of Melvin Pierson to be Detective of Police. Moved by r'inley, sec -nded by Vassar this appointment be confirmed. Re- rating by the Idaho State Survey ` Rating Bureau was discussed. Councilman Vassar: Will it improve our positionn_to ask for a new rating. Councilman Luby reported the Soroptimist Clnb donated U5.1c to the Northaide Park to be applies toward the lighting system. The Cite Clerk was instructed to write the Soroptiiidst Club and express the City's apnreciation for this gift.
