There being no further business to come before the Council it was moved by Councilman Smith,
seconded by Councilman Eldredge that Council recess to meet July 10, 1961 Motion carried.

The Council met pursuant to recess and acknowledgment of notice in the following forma
CALL AND ACPQ1aJLEDGMENT OF NOTICE
We, the undersigned Mayor and Members of the City Council of the City of C.iewell, Idaho, do each
hereby acknowledge notice of a recessed meeting of the said City Council, to be held in the Council Chambers
in the City Hall in the City of Caldwell, Idaho, at the hour of 8 :00 o'clock P. M. on the 10th day of July
1961, for the transaction of all business in connection with the following object: Hearing protests to the
Estimated Budget, which object was presented to each of the undersigned in writing.

Upon Rollgthe following Councilman answered present: E. L. Vassar, Max Luby and Alvin K. Bates.
Absent: Emile Shorb, N. E. "Coley" Smith and L. P. Eldredge.
Due to the absence of Mayor Ed Simmerman, President of the Council, E. L. Vassar acted as Mayor.
Acting Mayor, E. L. Vassar announced due to the absence of a quorm, Council would recess to meet
July 11, at 9:00 o'clock A. M.
Moved by Bouncilman Bates, seconds(' by Councilman Luby Council recess to most July 11, at 9:00
o'clock A. M. Motion carried.
