RESOLUTION
BY COUNCILMAN SMITH
WHEREAS, The amount appropriated in the annual aporonriation bill ^or the Sanitation Fund budget
has been exceeded by unantirioated and unforeseeable expenses, and
WHZ37AS, Said expenses are emercency expenses; and
t,rHRREAS, There is sufficient moneys in the General Fund of the City of Caldw =ll with which to gay
for said item;
NOW, THEREFORE, BF, IT R'dSOLV',D BY NE, MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CALI)WELL:
Section 1. That the budget of the Sanitation Fund is increased by the sum of SEV'dN THOUSAND FOUR
RDNDREn SEVENTY -NINF. & 49 /100 (97, 479,0) DOLLARS.
Section 2. That the Treasurer of the City of Caldwell be instructed to transfer from the General
I Fund of said City to the Sanitation Fhnd, the sum of SEVEN THOUSAND FOUR 11UNDRPM SEVENTY -KINE F-
($7,0 DOT,LARS.
Upon Roll Call thos- voting in the affirmative were: Vassar, Smith, Luby, Shorb, Eldredge and
Finley. Negative: None. Absent and not voting: None. I `
Therernon the Mayor declared the motion carried and the Resolution adapted,

Thereupon the Mayor declared the motion carried and the Resolution adopted.
There being no further business to come before the Council it w moved by Councilman Smith,
seconded by Councilman Luby that Council adourn. Motion carried.

in the City Hall in the City of Caldwell, Idaho, at the hour of 7 o'clock P. 11. on the 8th day of July,
1959, for the transaction of all business in connection with the following object: Discussion of the pro-

Upon Roll Call the following Councilmen answered present: E. L. Vassar, N. E. "Coley" Smith, `
Emile Shorb and Leland Finley. Absent: Max Luby and L. P. Eldredge. I'
The Mayor informed the Council the meeting was called to discuss the 1959 -1960 budget and to inter
interview department heads on their proposed budgets, also, to discuss salary raises.
Thereupon the Mayor and Council proceeded to interview department heads and study the 1959 -1960
budget.
No action was taken at this time.
There icing no further business to come before the Council it was moved by Councilman Smith,
seconded by Councilman Shorb that Council adjourn. Motion carried,

well, has heretofore certified and submitted to the Mayor and 1, ouncil, the Assessment Roll of Local I,
ovement District No. 46 of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, and it appearing that the assessment roll was
ived in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Caldwell, at 5:00 o'clock P. M. on the 2 ?nd day of
1959; and that said Assessment boll is now on file in said office;
And it further appearing that the h!ayor and Council of the City of Caldwell, at a meeting of said
r and Council, held in the City Hall of said City, on the 22nd day o June, 1959, passed a resolution
ring said assessment roll to be placed on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Caldwell,
