COUNCIL C HAMBERS . CITY OF CAM HELL. IDAHO. JULY 7, 1919.
Council met in regular session with Mayor 'Ward presiding; the
following Councilmen were present;
Dunlap, Fouling, Hayman, Moore and Sutton.
Mr Williams of the U S R S was
present and stated ° that
they were
ready to replace the water Maine on Canyon Hill but suggested that as it
was -to be permanent it would be better
to change the Maine to steel or Iron
and on motion Dunlap seconded by Moore
the Supt of Water works and the Tatar
00mm18aioner be authorized to purchase
Cast Iron Pipe for same.
The minutes of last regular and adjourned meetings were'read
and on
motiom Moore seconded by Sutton same were approved as read.
Attention was called to the Council that there wereseveral bridge
guard rails and gutter oroso ngs in need
of repairs and the Street commissioner
was instructed to place same in good oonditAon.
The following Bills against the
City were presented and
on motion of
Haytaan seconded by Moore same were allowed
and the Clerk instruoted
to
issue warrants on the respective funds
for payment of same.

On motion of Fooling seconded by Moore the bill of 0 H Trueblood
for damages was laid on the table.
The bid of the Caldwell News being the only one presentee fee the
City printing on motion Dunlap seoonded by Fouling same was awarded to
Caldwell News for the fiscal year.
The request of the Findlay advertising Co So erect a bill board
in the City limits was presented and on motion Fouling seconded by Dunlap
same was granted.

ORDINANCE NO 320.
Ordinance No 329 entitled an Ordinance creating and establishing a
local improvement district to be called "Local Sewerage Dmprovement District
No 6" in the city of Caldwell county of Canyon state of Idaho; Designating
the boundaried and describing the property inoluded therein; Providing for
the construction of a sewerage system therein; providing that the cost and
expense said improvement shall be upon all the lots andparoels of land
fronting on,all Highways, Streets or Alloys included within said district,
as well as all the lots or parcels of land situated therein; prescribing
the methodof assessment and the payment thereof; repealing all ordinances
resolutions or orders or parts thereof, in oonfiiotherewith; and declaring
an emergency.

Motion was made by Hayman and seconded by Fouling that the Ordinance
requiring the reading of an Ordinance on three seperate dates be suspended
and that the Clerk read Ordinance No 320 the second time by title and the
third time in full and be paloed on it final passage. The Mayor put the
question and on the roll being called the vote was;
Ayes Dunlap, Fouling, Hayman, Moore and Button.
Absent Dickens.
The mayor announced that the motion had carried and that the Ordinnanoe
No 820 stood for the second reading by title. The Clerk thereupon read said
Ordinance by title.
The Mayor announced that the clerk had read ordinance No 820 the
second time by title and instructed the Clerk to read said ordinance the
third time fully and distinctly and at length.

The mayor announced that said ordinance had been read the third
time in full and stood for final passage on the roll being called on the
motion shall Ordinance No 320 pass the vote was;
Ayes; Dunlap, Fouling, Hayman, Moore and Sutton.
Absent; Dickens.
The mayor announced that the ordinance had carried by more than
the necessary two - thirds vote, and thereupon in open council signed said
Ordinance No 320 and Same was atteted by the Clerk. The clerk was instructed
to record same In the ordinanoebook of the city of Caldwell, Idaho.
On motion Fouling seconded by Dunlap council adjourned till
Monday evening July h at. 1919
