I Caldrell, Idaho July 1, 1548 Leo Mason, Acting Mayor c/O Mason Buick Co., Caldwell, Idaho Dear Sir: At a recent meeting of the Directors of the Caldwell Memorial Hospital J" Association a resolution was unanimously passed requesting the vacation of Arlington Street on the west side of blocks forty and forty one in Dorman's Lakeview addition. This is the site on Lo4an street now owned by the Association as the location for the pending construction of a Hospital. At the same time it was agreed that the amount of ground obtained by vacation on the west side would be deeded from the east side, increasing the width of Fairview by that much. The reason for this request is twofold. (1) to remove traffic noises from the west side of the property as it is this side that will have most of the rooms. (2) to increase the road area on Fairview as it is this side that occasion all servicing units. The Board will appreciate your consideration. Bids have been called for on July 20, and the exact location of the construction will depend upon your actixi. Very truly yours, SIGNED George L. Crookham Jr., By E.H.
