The Regular Monthly Meeting of the City Council met in the Council Room:-of the "ty Hall, with the following Councilmen present: W. S. Boynton, G. M. Fenrich, Edgar L. akes and Norvil T. Hinds, Absent; Maydt;W..R..Holli0gaworth and Councilmen F. D. Mumford , W. E. Babcock. Due to the absence of the Mayor, Councilman Edgar L. Oakes, as President )f the Council, presided. Moved by Hinds, seconded by Fenrich that the 5th , of Vuly being a legal holiday :hat Council adjourn to meet July 6th. Motion carried. . City Clerk. COUNCIL CHAMBERS, JULY 6th., 1937. 8;00 P. M, Pursuant to adjournment of the Regul Monthly Meeting held on July[ 5th„ 1937, .he Council met in the Council Room with the Mayor, W, R, Hollingsworth presiding. On Roll Call the following Councilmen answered present: Edger L. Oakes, F. D. 4umford, W. S. Boynton, W, E. Babcock, G. M, Fenrich and Norvil T, Hinds, The Minutes of JuI,n�e 7th,, 21st., and 24th., were read and approved as read. Kra. Goo Crookhak A4rs. Vern Martin and Miss Opal Stewart appeared before the Council and stated that the Decade Club had $500 to apply towards the building of a T®nni Court and requested the City to form a W. P. A. project for the construction of same, Whereupon, Council Oakes presented the following resolution and moved the adoptio thereof, which motion was seconded by Councilman Boynton, Resolution By Oakes. BE IT RESOLVED, WHEREAS, The Decade Club appeared before the Council and re- quested co- operation for the building of a Tennis Court at the City Park, and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City of Caldwell form a W, P, A, project for the construction of said Tennis Court and that the same shall be carried into effect as 'soon as mayebe and if possible during September or October. of. the year 1937. A yea and nay vote was had thereon with the following result: i
