.Grand total of all warrants drawn amounts to :13,780.05.
Joe Dickens, chairman of the Road dommittee reported that the loader could be
bought from Gem County for possibly X450.00, and by guaranteeing that amount the Bounty
- Commiasionera would put it up at auction to be sold to the highest and beet bidder.
It was voted on motion of Leighty, seconded by Bollman, that the chairman of
the Road dommittee-maka a bid of $450:00 on said loader at date of sale and protect the
0 -ity's interest.
It was voted on motion of Dickens, seoonded by Sandmeyer, that 70¢ per hour be
paid for man and team oper9ting the sprinkler wagons.
It was voted on motion of Sandmeyer, seconded by Bollman, that the Pool Hall
License be granted to I. H. Waters, Geo. Franklin and W. L. Bradley for the quarter
ending September 30, 1929. A check for 425.00 accomppnying each application as license
Yee.
It was voted on motion of Sandmeyer, seconded by Bollman, that the dity Attorney
be instructed to draw a resolution of intentions to create an Improvement District im-
proving Blain Street and such other streets as might be deemed advisable to be included
in the improvement district
The Mayor appointed 4P. S. Gordon,,Counoilmen from the 'Third Ward.<
It was.voired on motion of Sendmeyar, seconded by Bollman,= that_ the appointment
of W. S. Gordan lie approved.
It we voted on motion of Dickens, seconded by Sandmeyer, that ,Council adjourn
to July 15, 1929,. at 8:00, P. M.

Mayor M000nnei presiding and 4ouncilmen DICKENS, GORDON, JOHNS AND LEIGHTY, PRESENT.
ABSENT: BOLLMAN AND SANDMEYER.
This being the date not for hearing protests against the proposed estimate of
expenditures of the City of Caldwell for the fiscal year. beginningthe First Taeaday in
May, 1929 and ending the First Tmesday'in May, 1930, the sold estimate and tax levy being
in excess of ton aille for gener§1 purposes.

The mayor asked if there was any one present that desired to be heard on,the
matter of the proposed estimate and tax levy.- There was no one to speak either for or
against the proposed estimate.. The Mayor and dounoil took the matter of proposed 'esti-
e and tax levy under consideration.
It was voted on motion of Dickens, seconded by Leighty, that the City Attorney
be instructed to draw an ordinance changing parking in the business district and to'pro-
hibit trucks from parking on gain Street from Sixth to Ninth Avenues and on Kimball Avenue
from the Railroad Hight -ofWay to Blain Street.
The Mayor appointed L. M. Porter, dlity Engineer.
It was voted on motion of Johns, seconded by Leighty, that the appointment of
L. M. Porter as City Engineer be confirmed. .
The Mayor appointed Frank E. Meek, bity Attorney, to take offset August 1, 1989.
It was voted on motion of Dickens,, seconded by Leighty, that the appointment of
Frank E. Meek, Gi ty Attorney be confirmed.
