Council met in regular session with Mayor Walter Griffiths, presiding, and Councilmen E. H. Adam, C. Q. Adams, J. L. Bardsley, John Stuntnberg, H. J. Zeh; predent, C. J. Shorb, clerk, when the tallow ing business was traneacteds The minutes of the meetings of June were read and approved. Councilmen Walker entered during the minutes. The claimof J. A. Dement in the sum of 490.00 for right of way for sewer through Dement Block, was read and referred to the finance committee. This clerk was instructed to present, on motion o f 7eh, a claim in the sum of $24.50 for its share in the siphon across the alley on 12th avenue between Blaine and Cleveland streets, to the pioneer Irrigation j? istrict. 111 Bill No. 17, entitled, "An Ordiannce amending Section 20 of Ordinance No, 160, entitled, "An ordinance defining offenses against be peace a "d good order of the City of Caldwell, and providing punishment therefor," passed by the city council on the 16th day of p 1910 and approved by th:! Naye,- Adam, ctunenberg, Zeh,- 3 So the Bill failed to pass. The report of the county assessor of delinquent taxes for year 1910 was read and referred to the finance committee. I Voted, on motion of Zeh, that the annual report of the street commissioner be published. Voted, on motion Po Bardelay, that detailed and the annual repoot of the super- intendent of water works be published. Voted, on motion of Zeh, that the annual report of the city clerk be pub- lished. Voted, on motion of Adam, that the annual report of the city treasurer be published. Voted, on motion of Zeh, that the city attorney be directed to ascertain the judgement of the district and supreme courts in relation to lateral sewer districts No. 3 and 4, and advise the city clerk and treasurer as to payments of bonds and warrants on said districts. r Voted, on motion of Zeh, that the city attorney be directed to ascertain the judgement of the district and supreme courts in relation to lateral sewer.
