Absent and not voting: Luby and Eldredge. q Thereuoon the Mayor declared the motion carried and the Resolution adopted. II The Committee appointed o- the Mayor to make a study of the City's insurance coverage reported II to the Council the Citr was under insured and recommended the blanket insurance be increased 3140,000, ii E615,000 to be given the A. LP9yers Insurance Co, and the balance to the Caldwell Association of Insurance 1 Agents. Moved by Vassar, seconded by dmith the City accept the recommendations of the Insurance Committee. Upon Roll Call it appeared the motion was unanimously carried. The matter of transportation for the Mayor was discussed. II Councilman Vassar recommended the City allow $650 per month for use of Mayor Simmerman's car and 350 per month for incidental expenses. It was unanimously agreed by the Council no action be taken on this until all Council members were it present. There being no further business to come before the Council it was moved by 6ouncilman Smith, seconded by Cccwcilman Shorb that Council adjourn. Motion carried. City Clerk. The Council met pursuant to call and acknowledsrment of notice in the following form: The Mayor stated the meeting was called to discuss the 1959 -1960 budget and a proposed salary Thereupon the Council proceeded to stud the proposed budget and the salary schedule. No action was taken at this time. There being no further business to come before the Council it was moved by Councilman Smith, seconded by Councilman Shorb that Council adjourn. Motion carried.
