On Roll Call the following Cozncilmen answered present: Edger L. Oakes, F. D. Mumford, G. p±, Fenjich, VI.S.L'oynton, w,L,3 bcbclt and Norvil T. Hinds. Absent: None. The Mayor informed the Cotmeil that the Meeting was called to tale up the matter of closing Ir-ing Street between 9th., and Kimball. Ur. A. L. Yurphy representing a number of citizens appeared and petitioned the Mayor and'Council not to close Irving Street, The Mayor informed Mr. Murphy that Ir.ing Street would not be closed. The Clerk read a petitionfrom Harry A. Tatum, recTuesting the cancellation of Special Improvement Taxes on Lots 1,2,3 and 4 in Block 103 of Goandu Addition to the City of Caldwell, Idaho, according to the official Plat thereof. NOW, TFEFC ?ORE,, PE IT ! =9I.''FD, That the said assessments for sprinkling, weed dutting, of the City of Caldwell, against the said property for the above mentioned years In the above principal amounts for the several years, plus interest and penalties, be, and the same are, l:ereb7 cancelled, and the Treasurer of the City of Caldwell, as the Collector of all special improvement special assessments of the City of Caldwell, be, and he is, hereby authorized and directed to crncel ,iron his books the assessments, plus interest and penalties for each of the above mentioned yeas on the abo7e d5scribed property, and to issued sstIttable form certificates or!other iaatzfmients in writinr, necessary to show that the said assessments and taxes have been cancelled in confo -nity herewith.
