Upon Roll those voting in the affirmative were: Blomquist, Vassar, Luby, Shorb, Eldredge and
Finley. Negative: None. Absent and not voting: None.
There pon the Mayor declared the motion carried and the Resolution adopted.
There being no rurther business to come before the Council it was moved by Councilman Blomquist,
seconded by Councilman Finley that Council adjourn. Motion carried.

We, the undersigned Mayor and Nembere of the City Council of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, do each
hereby acknowledge notice of a special meeting of the said City Cc ncil to be held at the Council Chambers
in the City H in the City of Caldwell, Idaho, at the hour of 5:00 o'clock P. M. on the 27th, day of
June, 1958 for the transaction of all business in connection with the following subject: Receiving bids
for truck and flusher, which object was presented to each of the undersigned inwriting.

f Upon Roll Call the following Councilmen answered present: E. L. Vassar, Fran Blomquist, Max Luby,
IlEtmile Shorb, L. 0, Eldredge and Leland Finley.
II The meeting was called to take uo the matter of rezoning "A" Commercial Zohe and "C" Comryercial
Zone.
The following letter was read from Tom E. Shearer, President of the College of Idaho:
July 2, 1958

City of Caldwell
Caldwell, Idaho
By action of the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees of
the College of Idaho at a meeting on Tuesday, July 1, 1958, no formal
protest will be made in the matter of the application to change the area
lying between 21st and 22nd avenues and north of Blaine street, from
the classifacation as a "residence " - 'zone to a "comm-rcial" zone.
The action was taken with an understanding that no change is expected
in the city ordinance which prohibits the issuance of a license for the
sale of beer upon property within two city blocks of The College of lr,aho.
