WHEREUPON, Councilmen Fenrich seconded the motion. A yea and nay vote was had thereon with the following results: Y%9. Councilman Oakes, Lumford, Fenrich, Hollingsworth, 2Sontgom ?ry and Boynton. No: None. Absent and not voting: None. Whereupon, the Mayor declared the motion duly curried and the preamble and resolution iuly adopted. Pursuant to adjournment of the adjourned meeting of June 24th., 1936, the Mayor and City Council met with the Mayor Emery L. Vassar, presiding. Resolution By Edgar L. Oakes A RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC MISTING FOR THE 67th, DAY OF 9V1_Y, 1936, AT EIGHT O'CLOCK P. M. FOR THE PURPOSE OF GRIUTING A PUBLIC HEARING, BEFORE THE APPROPRIATION BILL PROVIDED FOR IN SECTIGPIS 49 -1716 AND 49 -1102 IDAHO CODES ANNOATED AND CHAPTERS 17 OF TITL 49 OF THE IDAHO CODES ANNOTATED, SHALL BE PASSED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL; A COPY OF WHICH SAID ESTIMATE OF THE PROPOSED APPROPRI:LTION BILL FULLY SET FORTH AT LENGTH UPON THE MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL HELD ON 2tm 25th., 1936; TH SAID LEVY PURPOSES BEING IN EXCESS OF TEN MILLS. kERE.3 at a meeting of the City Council of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, held on the 25th., day of June 1936, an estimate of the probable amount of money necessary for all purposes to be raised in the City of Caldwell, Idaho, during the fiscal year begin - ing the first day of May 1936, including principal and interest due on the bonded debt and sinking fund, itemizing and classifying the different objects and branches of ex- penditures as near as may be, with a statement of the entire revenue of the City for the previous fiscal year, was submiyted to said Mayor and City Council by the Finance Com- mittee, and which said estimate was entered at length upon its minutes, and ;j'HEM AS, a motion was duly made, by Oakes seconded by Mumford and carried that proper resolution be drawn fixing the time for a public hearing of protests against said proposed appropriation bill, and giving due notice thereof; NOW, THERE'F'ORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AIID THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO: Section 1. That the Mayor and 01ty council of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, have determined that it will require a tax levy for general revenue purposes in' excess of ten mills to raise sufficient money for general purposes, as Provided by law and as is more fully shown by the estimate of expenditures of the City of Caldwell, Calryon County, Idaho, for the fiscal year beginning the first day of May, 1936. Section 2. That before the passage of said appropriation bill and before said levy be made, a public hearing be granted, and that said public hearing is hereby called and ordered to be held at the City Hall of said City at the hour of 8 o'clock, P. M., on the 27th day of July, 1936, upon zaid estimate and proposed appropriation bill. Section 3. That notice of the meeting of public hearing shall be given by at least four publications in the Saturday issue of the Caldwell News- Tribune, a daily news,a paper, printed and published in the City of Caldwell, Idaho, which said newspaper has, in conformity of Section 154 of the 1935 Sessions Laws, in each issue at t:ie head of the ed- itorial column announced the day of the week on which legal notices required by law or by order of any Court of competent jurisdiction to be published weekly, and which notice shall be in substantially the following form, to -wit: NOTICE OF MEETING AND PUBLIC HEARING OF THE PROPOSED ESTIMATE OF E)a OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO, FOR THE YISCAL YEAR BEGINNING THE FIRST DAY OF MAY, 1936; SAID ESTILATE AND TAX LEVY FOR GEITERAL PURPOSES B'IDfG IN EXCESS OF TEN MILLS.
