Negative: None. A bsent and not voting; None. The Mayor declared the motion had passed by the necessary three - fourths majority and directed the Clerk to read Bill No. I the second time by title and the third time in full, section by section. The Clerk read the Bill as directed. The question then being "Shall Bill No.l, pass? The Mayor directed the Clerk to call the roll on the above question which resulted as follows: Those voting in the affirmative were: Mumford, Oakes, Fenrich, Boynton, and Hinds. Those voting in the negative: Babcock. A bsent and not voting : None. Thereupo the Mayor declared Bill No. 1, had passed, and the Mayor in opensession of the Council duly signed and a pproved the Bill, and the Clerk duly signed and attested the same which became Ordinance No.546 . The Mayor directed the Clerk to make proper entry of the same to cruse Ordinance No, 546, to be published in the C News - Tribune, the official newspaper of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, appointed The Mayor /Councilmen Oakes and Boynton with Bower to act to purchase two cafb for the police department, Mr. R. B. McCutcheon appeared before the Council and gave the City prices on J J Stop and Go lights. This matter was referred to the Street Committee and the Chief of � F eoa.ice. COUNCIL CHAMBERS, JULY 6th., 1937. 8;00 P. M. Pursuant to adjournment of the Regular Monthly Meeting held on July 5th„ 1937, Council met in the Council Room with the Mayor, W. R. Hollingsworth presiding. On Roll Call the following Councilmen answered present: Edgar L. Oakes, F. D. mford, W, S. Boynton, W. E. Babcock, G. M. Fenrich and Norvil T. Hinds, The Minutes of June 7th„ 21st., and 24th., were read and approved as read, Mrs. Geo Crockhar, Mrs. Vern Martin and Miss Opal Stewart appeared before the Council and stated that the Decade Club had $500 to apply towards the building of a Ten? Court and requested the City to form a W. P. A. project for the construction of same. Whereupon, Council Oakes presented the following resolution and moved the adopt: thereof, which motion was seconded by Councilmen Boynton. Resolution By Oakes. BE IT RESOLVED, WHEREAS The Decade Club appeared before the Council and re- quested co- operation fot the building of a Tennis Court at the City Park, and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City of Caldwell form a W. P. A. project for the construction of said Tennis Court and that the same shall be carried into effect as 'soon as mayebe and if possible during September or October. of, the year 1937.
