The clerk thereupon read the ordinance the second time by Title and the third time in full and the Mayor announced that the ordinance stood for final passage and on the roll being called on the motion shall Ordinance pass the vote was; Ayes Dunlap, A'euling Hayman Moore Sutton Weetoott. The Mayor announced that the L'otion had carried unaaamoasly and the Cler was instructed to amke proper entry and cause same to be published in the Caldwell News the official Newspaper of the City of Caldwell. On motion Dunllp seconded by Sutton the City Cler was instructed to call for Bids for the 9eaeSsaaiAeg -a sale of Bonds for sewer Dist No 6 and Paving District No 4 oertified check for 6% of Bid it accompany same. Council met in regular session pursuant to adjournment and in the absence of Mayor Ward Councilman Dunlap presided. the foll wing Councilmen were present; Dunlpaf; Fouling, Moore and Sutton. absent Yestoott. / 1 City Engineer Lockwood reported that the estimated cost of Sewer to Odd Fe Fellows Homa would be about One thousand feet at a cost of about x;1.26 per foot or about $1260.00 aomplete and recommended an 8' Tile. Motion was made by Sutton and seconded by Fouling that the City construct said sewer and that the City iXginsertake charge of the construction. Motion made by Fouling seconded by Sutton That the city Attorney be instructed to draft Ordinance declaring the intention of the City of Oaldwell to organize a curbing District on Dearborn Street from let to 20th. street m Cleaveland from 7. to Aven Street on Albany from 6, to 12, on Belmont from 7, to 12, and Chicago from 8, to 12, Motion by Moore and seconded by Fouling That City Engineer be instructedb to prepare estimate of cost of same and furnish to City Attorney and that he be instructed to notify the Pioneer Irrigation District of the plan of such improkmnt. On motion Sutton seconded by Moore the city Clerk was iastnoted to call for bids for the construction of Sidewalk as ordered in. The following resolution was presented by Councilman Sutton; WHEREAS; In the construction of the Drainage System by the Declamation Service and the Pioneer Irrigation District that portion of the Pioneer Irrigation District within the limits of the City of Caldwell lying East of Indian Creek was not provided with drainage contemplated and. WHEREAS: The water logged condition of this said portion of the City is X51 becoming greater and will be added to by the construction of the Gdvernment Ca&al and the Caldwell Irrigation District and , WBEREAS; Said drain when eemgie*ed constructed can be utilized to some extent as a sewer outlet. now therefore be it resolved that the U S Reclamation Service the Pioneer Irrigation Diatriat and the Caldwell Irrigation District be requested to provide a proper drainage system to relieve the water- logged condition caused by said parties and be it further resolved, that in case pontions of said drainage system can be used as a sewer outlet that it is the sense of the city Council that a portion of the coat of said system be provided for by the city council of the city of Caldwell Idaho as a tax against the property so beneficially affected and be it farther resolved; That a committee consisting of the Mayor City Attorney and Councilman Dunlap be authorized and directed to wait upon the Directors of the Pioneer Irrigatin District the officers of the U S Reclamation Service and the Directorsof the Caldwell Irrigation District and secure relief from said water - logged condition.
