REGULAR MEETING
June 20, 1988
7:30 p.m.
The Meeting was called to order by Mayor Cowles.
Mayor Cowles explained that a Special Meeting was called on
the 17th of June, 1988. It was determined that a quorum
would not be present at the time scheduled for the Regular
Meeting, June 20, 1988, so the Special Meeting was called to
take action on matters that could not be delayed for another
two weeks. Since a notice was given that this auction would
be held on June 20, 1988, at 7:30 p.m., it was necessary to
have a meeting for that purpose. Those present were the
Mayor, the Finance Director, and the City Clerk. Those
Council members in town did not attend the meeting as the
Mayor indicated that he could see no reason for them to do
so as no action was required.
