A petition was presented to the Council signed by 42 property owners asking
that an Improvement District be formed improvbng Blain Street from Ninth Street to
Twentieth Street, and all intersecting streets between Blain Street and dleveland Blvd.,
with curb and gutter, and sand and gravel for the purpose of oiling at some future time.
The matter was taken under advisement.
It was voted on motion of Dutton, seconded by MoOonnel, that Council adjourn to
Jane 18, 1928, at 8:00 P. M.

CounoiL met in regular session persuant to adjournment of June 4, 1928, with
Mayor Dunlap presiding and Oounoilmen DAVIS, HOBH9sAN, JACESON, MCOONNEL AND MUMFORD,
PRESENT. ABSENT: MUTTON.
It was voted on motion of Hoffman, seconded by Jackson, that the American Surety
do. Bond of $1000.00 of Lawrenoe M. Porter be approved.
The Olark opened the bid of Whelchel Brothers to build two (2) toilets near the
Swiming Pool. in Memorial Park, furnishing all material and labor in the a= of 0696.00.
It was voted on motion of Hoffman, seconded by Mumford, that the bid of Whelohel
Brothers be excepted.
It was voted on motion of Jackson, seconded by Hoffman, that 00=oi Modonnel
be authorised to investigate plans and prices of drilling a well for the purpose of sup-
plying additional dity Water.
