Council Chamber, City of Caldwell, Idaho, June 10th., 1915,
Council meet in regular Session, pursuant to ad,jurnment, with Mayor Fred C.
Boyes, presiding, Councilmen Ackley, Demant, Forbes, Hayman and Lilly present, S. Ben
Dunlap, Clerk, when the following business was transactede
Bill No, 1, by Furbes, entitled, "An ordinance amending section 4 of
Ordinance No. 148 of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, "An ordinance to regulate the buildink
of sidewalks and crosswalks in the City of Caldwell, Idaho, and repealing Ordinance No.
62 of said City, entitled, an urdinence to regulate the building of sidewalks and
crossings in the City of 9aldwell ", passed by the Co of said City on the 29th day
of November, 1909, and approved by the Mayor of the said City on the 30th day of
November, 1909, as amended by Ordinance No. 214 of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, "An
Ordinance to regulate the building of sidewalks and crossings in the City of Caldwell.
Idahe", passed by the Council of said City on the 20th day of May, 1912, and approved by
the Mayor of said City on the 20th day of May, 1912 was read for the first time.
A motion wes made by Ackley, seconded Lilly, that the rules be suspended
and the reading on three separate days be dispensed with and that Bill No. 1 be read
the second time by title and the third time in full and placed on its final passage.
The roll being called on the motion the vote resulted,
Ayes- Ackley, Dement, Forbes, Hayman, Lilly -5
174yes -Nune.
Absent- Harringtun -1, Sa the motion prevailed.
Bill No. 1 read the second time by title.
Bill No. 1 read the third time in full and placed on its final passage. On
the question shall Bill No. 1 pass? The roll being called the vote resulted,
Ayes - Ackley, Dement, Forbes, Hayman, Lilly -5
Nayes -Nune.
Absent - Harrington -1. So Bill No. 1 passed becoming Ordinance No. 257.
It was voted upvn motion of Ackley that Council adjvrn until Tuesday, June
15th at 9 o'cl ck A. M.

Clerk, when the following business was transacted,

Sidewalk Resulutivn No, 1, by Fdrbee, entitled,'" A resolution providing

for the construction of a sidewalk accurding to plan 3 of Ordinance No. 148, as
amended by Ordinamce No. 189 of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, along and in front
of certain lots and blocks in said City and providing for the payment of such
construction by an assessment levied and assessed against the property fronting and
abutting on said sidewalk ", was read.
A motion was made by Forbes, seconded Lilly , that the resolution be
adopted. The roll being called on the motion the vote resulted,
Ayes - Ackley, Dement, Forbes, Hayman, Lilly -5
Nayes -None.
Absent - Harrington -1. So the motion prevailed.
It was voted upon motion of Ackley that Council adorn until Friday
evening June 25th., 1915, at 8 o'clock.

Council meet in regular session, pursuant to ad,jurnment, with Mayor Fred
C. Boyes, presiding, Councilman Dement, Forbes, Hayman and Lilly, present, S. Ben
Dunlap, Clerk, when the following business was transacted,
The time coming on regularly for the opening of bide fur concrete construc-
tion work, as per advertisement ordered June 9th., 1915, the following bide were
received and opaned,
Y. H. Abercombie, Boise, Idaho. Accompanied by a certi-
fied check on the Idaho Trust and Savings Bank, in the sum of
$500.00, favor the City Clerk.
