The Council met pursuant to call and acknowledgement of notice in the following forma I� CALL AND LCIKNOHLEDGEMENT OF NOTICE We, the undersigned Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Caldwell, Idaho do each hereby acknowledge notice of a special meeting of said City Council to he held at the council chambers in i the City Hall of Caldwell, Idaho at the hour of 8l00 P. h., on the 13th, day of June, 1950, for the trans - action of all business in connection with the following object: Consideration of the Annual Estimate of Expenditures, which object was submitted to each of the undersigned in writing. Burrell, John myers,ll Fran Blomquist, Dale Fenrich and J. N. Bettis. f Thereupon the following Resolution was presented to the Mayor and bouncil by Councilman Burrell, who moved the adoption thereof, which motion was duly seconded by Councilman Myers. RESOLUTION BY COUNCILMAN BURRELL. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE REPURCHASE OF CEMETERY LOTS BY THE CITY OF CALDW'ELL, IDAHO. WHEREAS, persons who have purchased lots in the cemetery of the City of Caldwell often desire to dispose of the same; and � WHEREAS, the City is in need of additional cemetery lots and is desirous of repurchasing those previously sold but not desired by the purchaser, NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Mayor and Council: 1. That the City of Caldwell may repurchase any unused cemetery lot or lots tendered back to the City by the owner thereof for the price paid by said owner at the time of the purchase of said lot or lots from the City. 2. That the owners desiring to sell back to the City any lot or lots shall cause to be presented � to the City Council of the City of Caldwell an appropriate claim setting forth the price that the City will have to pay for said lot or lots and the description of the same. 3. That the City Council upon examination of the claim and records of the City of Caldwell and _- being satisfied that the party presenting the claim is the true owner of the lot or lots, may approve said a claim and cause the appropriate officers of the City of Caldwell to execute a warrant on the cemetery fund of the City in the name of the owner in the amount of the purchase price and which warrant the City Clerk will be authorized to tender the owner of said lot or lots upon the owner's furnishing the City a quitclaim deed to said lot or lots. 4. That upon resale of any lots repurchased under this resolution all money received therefrom shall be placed in the cemetery fund of the City of Caldwell. A "Yea" and "Nay" vote was had thereon with the following results "Sea ": Glaisyer, Burrell, ?, Myers, Blomq -ist, Fenrich and Bettis. "Nay ": None. Absent and not voting: None. i Thereunon the Mayor declared the motioncarried and the resolution adopted. Thereupon the Council proceeded to consider the Annual Appropriation Bill. Whereupon Councilman Glaisyer, presented the following Resolution and moved the adoption thereof, which motion was duly seconded by Councilman Blomquist. BE IT RESOLVED, That the following is an estimate of the expenditures of the City of Caldwell for 3S8 the fiscal year 1950 -1951, and that the following be, and is hereby adopted, and the following is an estimats:.
