Counail.met.in regular session pursue* to adjournment with Councilman presiding; the following Councilman were present; l Ward Dunlap Fouling Hayman Moore and Sutton. On motion Hayman seconded by Sutton it wee decided to abide with the Contract with.the Warren Construction Cc and not place drain pipes under the gutters on Cleave land Boulevard. COUNCIL CHAMBERS 'ITY OF CALDWELL JUNE 16. 1920. Council met in regular session pursuant toadjaurnment with Mayor Ward presiding. Councilmen present; Dunlpp, Fouling Hayman Moore and Sutton. Mayor Ward appointed C J Westoott Councilman from the second Gard to sucoe d Od # Jod Dickens resigned and on motion Sutton seconded by Fe cling same was confirmed unanamously. The Mayor appointed the Sewer and Water Committee and City Attorney a committee to investigate the proposition of extending a sewer line to the I 0 0 F Home. In the matter of the Fire Hose used by the Warren Construction Co same was refferred to the Fire Committee and Chief of the Fire Department. Motion was made by Dunlap and aeocr:ded by Fouling that the estimate of Expenses as prepared by the City Council be accepted and published as required by Law. The Council proceeded to canvass the returns of the Bond Election held June lb, with the follwing result. First Question. Municipal Building Bonds Yee. 392 Bonds No 289 Second Question Funding Bonds Bonds Yea 274 Bonds No 247 The council thereupon declared that neither Bond issue had carried by t e necessary two thirds. The Mayor announced the appointment of 0 J Westoott as member of the Road Committee and on motlonHayman same was oonfirmed. Motion by Dunlap seconded by Fouling that City Cler advertise for bids forthe sale of Bonds to the amount of $ 23600.00 for the purpose of Funding the outstanding Warrant Indebetdness of the City. ORDINANCE NO ff 341 entitled an Ordinance creating and establishing a local Improvement District to be called LOCAL STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO 4 in the city of Caldwell, Canyon CouncJ; Idaho was read the first time and on motion Sutton and aeconde by Hayman that the rule requiring the reading j
