That said Notice shall be the same as hereby ordered and that the City Clerk of the li City of Caldwell, Idaho, is hereby ordered, authorized and directed to cause said notice to be published as hereinbefore menti and procure proof of said publication. Upon Roll Call those voting in the affirmative were: Blomquist, Luby, Shorb, Finley, Eldredge. Negative: None. Absent and not voting: Vassar. Thereupon the ya yor declared the motion carried and the Resolution adopted. The question of sprinkling the Rodeo Grounds was brought up by Councilman Finley. Blom uist y Councilmar>�stated the Rodeo Association should be able to do their own sprinkling but someone !� should be designated to supervise. I� There being no further business to come before the Council it was moved by Coune'.lman Finley, jl seconded by Councilman Shorb that Council adjourn. Motion carried. Mayor. CALL AND ACKNOWLEDM4FNT OF NOTICE We, the undersigned Mayor and Members of the City Council of the City of Caldwell, Idahc, do each hereby acknowledge notice of a special meeting of the said City Council to be held at the Council Chambers, in the City Hall in the City of Caldwell, Idaho, at the hour of 5:00 o'clock P. M. on the 10th day of June 1957, for the transaction of all business in connection with the following object: Resolution approving plans and specifications for Local Improve,ent District hh, which object was presented to teach of the undersigned in writing. li WITNESS our signatures this 10th day of June, 19$7• o Il ayor. Vassar, Nfax Luby, Emile Shorb, L. P. Eldredge and Leland Finley. The Mayor informed the Council this was the time set for approving the plans and specifications of improvements in Local Improvement District No. 1:4. k Upon motion by Finley, seconded by Eldredge the following Resolution was proposed: 1 RESOLUTION By Councilman Finley. A RES_LiiTION APPRO�TNG THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF IMPROVEMENTS IN LOCAL IMPR07LMFM DISTRICT 10. 4 OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO, AUTHORIZING THE INVITATION FOR BIDS AND SETTING d A ;ATE FOR OPENING BIDS. 'I WHEREAS, the Mayor and C ouncil of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, have heretofore duly and regularly,i! 207 as required by law, created Local Improvement District No. 44 of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, for the purpose, a il of constructing in said district, improvements consisting of suitable curbs and gutters and street and alley valleys and for the purpose of surfacing, grading and oiling the streets therein; and I II WHEREAS, the City Engineer of the City of Caldwell has prepared and filed with the City Clerk of,I .I said city, plans and specifications for the construction of said improvements in said Local Improvement District No. h4 of the City of Caldwell, I.iaho, which said plans andepecifications have been presented to i the Mayor and City Council and approved; and WHEREAS, it is desirable to Invite bads for the construction of said improvements. NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved and ordered by the Mayor and Council of the City of Caldwell, Idaho: II Section 1.. That the plans and specifications heretofore prepared by the City Engineer and filed with the City Clerk Of the City of Caldwell, for the construction of certain improvements authorized in I � III said Local Improvement District No. 44 of the Cit, of Caldwell, Idaho, for the purpose Of constructing in said district improvements consisting of suitable curbs and gutters and street and alley valleys and for Il ia the purpose of surfacing, grading and oiling the streets therein, be and the same are hereby approved. Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby ordered to prepare and let invitations for bids and Il i publish the same in the News - Tribune, official newspaper of the City of Caldwell, on Junel2, 17, and 26, 1957, calling for the opening of said bids at the City Hall on June 27, 1957, at the hour of 5:00 o'clock II P. M. in accordance with Section 5- 293b of the Idaho Code. Upon Roll Call those voting in the affirmative were: Vassar, Ill Shorb, Eldredge and Finley. Neative: None. Absent and not voting: Hlomquist. Thereupon the Mayor declared the motion carried and the Resolution adopted.
