HomeMy WebLinkAbout1915-06-10city council minutes539 L;Qun Cil Chamber, City of Caldwell, Idaho, June 10th., 1915. Council meet in regular session, pursuant to adjornment, with Mayor Fred C. Boyes, presiding, Councilman Ackley, Dement, Forbes, Hayman and Lilly present, S. Ben Dunlap, Clerk, when the following business was transacted: Bill No. I by Forbes, entitled, "An ordinance amending section 4 of Ordinance No. 148 of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, "An ordinance to regulate the building of sidewalks and crosswalks in the City of Caldwell, Idaho, and repealing Ordinance No. 62 of said City, entitled, an ordinance to regulate the building of sidewalks and crossings in the City of Baldwell ", passed by the Colancil of said City on the 29th day of November, 1909, and approved by the Mayor of the said City on the 30th day of November, 1909, as amended by Ordinance No. 214 of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, "An Ordinance to regulate the building of sidewalks and crossings in the City of Caldwell, Idaho ", passed by the Council of said City on the 2OtL• day of May, 1912, and approved by the Mayor of said City on the 20th day of May, 1912 ", was read fur the first time. A motion was made by Ackley, seconded Lilly, that the rules be suspended and the reading on three separate days be dispensed with and that Bill No. 1 be read the second time by title and the third time in full and placed on its final passage. The roll being called on the motion the vote resulteds Ayes - Ackley, Dement, Forbes, Hayman, Lilly -5 Hayes -None. Absent - Harrington -1. So the motion prevailed. Bill No. 1 read the second time by title. Bill No. 1 read the third time in full and placed on its final passage. On the question shall Bill No. 1 pass? The roll being called the vote resulted: Ayes- Ackley, Dement, Forbes, Hayman, Lilly -5 Neyes -None. Absent - Harrington -1. So Bill No. 1 passed becoming Ordinance No. 257.
