The reiunation of Councilmen Dickens was presented and on motion Hayman seconded by Button same was accepted. s A B Cooper appeared before the Council requesting permission to place wagon scales on 6th. Street between Main and Arthur and on motion Hayman seconded by Fouling same was granted under supervision of the Street Department On motion Fouling seconded by Sutton the Street Committee wag instructed to- repair road on Blain Street above 21st. The minutes of last regular and adjourned Session were read and on motion Hayman seconded by Feulin were approved as read. The following Bills against the City were read and on motion Hayman Seconded by Fouling were allowed and Clerk instructed to issue warrants e on the respective funde for same. On motion Hayman seconded by Feeling all bids for the construction of Sewers 7 and 8 be rejected. Motion was made by Hayman and seconded by Sutton that the City accept the ourbing completed by J H Forbes under sub - contract from the Warren Coast. Go. Motion made by Hayman seconded by Sutton that the Bond of J H Forbes fozb the oohstruotion of sewerDietriot No 6 be ordered cancelled. On motion Dunlap seconded by Sutton the Idaho Power Co were ordered to place three Street Lights on Eighteenth street running South on Speedway. The Mayor appointed Councilman Hayman a member of the Street Com made vacant by the resignation of Councilman Dickens and on motion Dunlap seconded by Fouling same was confirmed. The assessment roll dor the construction of paving in District No 3 was presented by the Paving Committee and on motion #0 Dunlap seconded by Sutton same was accepted and ordered published and July 6, set as date for time of hearing protests to some. On motion Dunlap seconded by Moore the Clerk was instructed to cause the publication of Assessment roll for sewer Diet No 6 as prepared by the Com. and time for hearing objections set for July 6, 1920. Motion made by Sutton and seconded by Hayman that the City Attorney be directed to institute proceedings against the Pioneer Irrigation Dist. restraining them from running water in the Streets in Paving Dist. No 2. The Mayor appointed Councilman Dunlap and Mrs Buckner members Of the Li- brary Board and on motion Sutton appointments were confirmed. Councilman Sutton was authorized to purchase necessary Coal of City Hall. On motion Sutton Councilman Sutton Council adjourned to June 11. 1920. Attest. ' '2�J f cit . Or —
