Don Baird, Building Inspector riscussed the Plumbing Code and pointer out minor changes should be
! 1made in the City's Code so as not to c with the State Code.
The Mayor instructed Mr. Baird to present the proposed changes for Council study.
It was also recommended contractors request inspection for plumbing work before the work is covered
Petition for stop light at the intersection of Highway 30 and Linden was presented.
No action was taken.
Moved by Short, seam ded by Eldredge the City Clerk be instructed to write Canyon County Commission
and urge the County to dust coat the unpaved mile of roadway on Lake Lowell Drive.
Upon Ra11. Call it anneared the motion was unanimously carried.
Rezoning of the Southwesterly Half of Block Four of Washington Heights,Steunenberg F Hands Addition
to Caldwell, Idaho was brought up for discussion.
Councilman - ;Idredge: I feel the Planning ^ ommission :as out of line in recommending to the Council
the change in zoning. This recommendation should have been made to the Board of Adjustment.
Councilmen; Vassar. Blomquist, L> >by, Shorb and Finley in favor of re- zoning.
Mayor: The Planning Commission and Board of Adjustment shol.�ld make recommendation to the Council
for future developments.
Robert Jackson discussed Water, Road, Engineer and Treatment Plant budgets.
There being no flarther business to come before the Council it was moved by Councilman Hlaomquist,
seconded by Councilman Luby that Council apjourn. Motion carried.
