Councilman Dickens was instructed to investigate the purchase of the Loader
from ;;em County, and arragge for price end payment thereof.

Chief of Police Rowland presented the matter of parking on Main Street and
Kimball Avenue, and stating the importance of some better regulations.
It was voted on motion of Dickens, seconded by Leighty, that a committee of
three be appointed to investigate the matter. The Mayor appointed Chief Rowland, Leighty��
and Dickens.
It was voted on motion of Bollmen, seconded by Sandmeyer, that Council adjourh
to June 5, 1929, at 8:00, P. M. ����� -•

Council met in regular session persuent to adjournment of June 3, 1929, with
Mayor Mo®onnal presiding and Councilmen BOLLMAN, JOHNS, LEIGHTY, DICKENS AND SANDMEYER.
ABSENT: NONE.
By special request Clarence Van Dusen appeared before the Mayor and Council in
the interest of working out the Annual Appropriation Bill. The matter was gone into at
some length -by Mr. Van Dusan, and considerable information was had be aarefull study of
the annual audit. However, no definite action was taken.
It was voted on motion of Sandmeyer, seconded by Leighty, that Council adjourn
to June 12, 1929, at 8:00, P. Tat.

Council met in regular session persuant to adjournment of June 5, 1929, with
Mayor McConnel presiding, and Councilmen BOLLUAN, DICKENS, , LEIGHTY AND SANDIZEYER,
PRESENT. ABSENT: .JOHNS,
RESOLUTION NO. 2, BY BOLLMAN, was presented as follows:
"WHEREAS, All of the owners of Block Twenty -one (21) of Golden Gate Addition
to the City of Caldwell, Idaho, have, by proper declaration, a copy of which is attached
hereto marked 'Exhibit A' and made a part hereof, duly declared the plat of said Block
Twenty -one (21) vacated; provided, however; that said vacation shall not effect the alley
or streets as platted through or upon said block according to the official plat thereof.
"NOW, THEREFORE, Be it resolved by the Mayor and Council of the City of Caldwell
Idaho, that said vacation be, and the same hereby is approved.
Motion was made by Leighty, seconded by Dickens, th44t Resolution No. 2 be approvi d.
The Clerk was directed to call the roll oh the question as stated with the following resul :
