Moved by Burrell, seconded by Blomquist the plans for a proposed Recreation Building be referred
to the City Engineer for study.
Upon Roll Call it appeared the motion was unanimously carried.
There being no further business to come before the Council it was moved by Councilman Burrell,
seconded by Councilman Shorb that Connell adjourn. Motion carried.

The Regular Monthly Meeting of the City Council met in the Council Rooms of the City Hall with the
Mayor, Jason C. Smith presiding.
Upon Roll Call the following Councilmen answered presents Fran Hlomquist, L. E. Burrell, Gee
Cleveland, Emile Shorb, L. P. Eldredge and J. M. Rettis.
The Clerk presented to the Mayor and Council the Affidavit of Publication of the Notice of the
passage of a Resolution declaring tha intention of the City of Caldwell, Idaho tocreate and establish Local
Improvement District No. 41.
The Clerk presented to the Mayor and Coimcil the Affidavit of Mailing said Notice of the passage _.
of a R declaaring the intention of the City of Caldwell, Idaho to crate and establish Local Im—
provement District No, 41, showing the same to have been mailed to all of the owners of property within the
boundaries of said Local Improvement District No. 41.
Thereupon the Mayor announced that this was the*Ame set by notice for the consideration of pro—

There were no protests filed.
Thereupon Councilman Bettis introduced Bill No 3, entitled-
AN ORDINANCE CREATING AND ESTABLISHING A LOCAL STREET I1PPROVEIENT DISTRICT TO BE CALLED 0M KNOWN
AS "LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT N0. 61 FOR THE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO "; bESIGNATING THE STREETS AND AVENUES
AND POINTS BETWEEN WHICH SAID INPROVEMENT IS TO BE MADE; AND PROVIDING FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF CURM, GUTTL
AND STREET AND ALLEY VALLEYS IN SAID DISTRICT: AND PROVIDING FOR THE SURFACING, GRADING, AND OILING OF THE
STREETS Ari A VENUES THEREIN; PROVIDING THAT THE COST AND E'CPENSE OF THE SAID IMPROVEMENT SHALL BE TAXED
