COM CHAMERS.MlE 4TH,1923.
The Council met in regular sessionwith Mayor'Smeed,presiding, Councilmen,
Feuling,Harmon, Kimbrough, Mumford, Robb, & wheeler,present.
The minutes of the previous session -were read and approved,
It was voted on motion of Yumford,seeohded by Kimbrough, that matter of Sprinkdg
ling-t:e Streets be left to street Committee.with power to act.
° It was voted on motion of Fouling, seconded by Harmon, that Resolution, eoncern ig
Bill °Boards be referred to the City Attomney for an opinion.

It was voted on motion of Wheeler, seconded by Robb, that the Caldwell ',ribune b
be designated as the Official leper for the ensuing two years.
° The Mayor annou.cde that A.D_Myers having resiga$d as hotorcyole Cop, he had
appointed Coy Collins as the successor. It was voted on motion of k imbrough,seconded
by Mumford, that the Council confirm the appointment.
• It was voted on motion of Robb, seconded by Harmon, that Dyers salary be filed
at $90 per month; also that the first assistant on the "ester Works salary be w100;Second
man at 090;that the two Truck ' in the Road Dept. be paid 0100 per month and Duke
Viood- at $90.
Harmon, Park Committeeman recommended the hiring of an extra man for the summer months,

'so it was voted on motion of l euling, seconded by Mum ford, that the recommendation be
aooepted and Porter U lenn be hired atv 090per month.
It was voted on motion of Feuling,seeonded by Harmon,that all lots or parcels of
land as affected by Ordinance # concerning the mwoing of Weeds, Trimming of ;!Rees
and removal of all kinds of rubbish be enforced andthe Street Commissionerwas directel
to give due notice of the same by having the same publithed in the Tribune.,
It was voted on motion of Kimbrough, seconded by Harmon, that the bills as
apprbved be allowed and warrants ordered drawn on the various funds as follows:
