Done by order of the mayor and council of Caldwell, Idaho, this 2nd. day of'June 1919. I On motion Dickens seconded by Sutton that the specifications as prepared by the city engineer for the construction work of the proposed paving and extension of the water works be accepted, on roll call the vote was as follows: Ayes Dickens, Dunlap, Haymah Fouling, Moore and Sutton Ilayes and absent . None. Motion Dickens secohded Hayman council adjourned until wednesday i June 4th. 1919 Mayor Attest; City er Caldwell, Idaho, Suns 4th. 1919 COUNCIL met in regular session pursuant to adjournment of the 2nd. Last with Mayor W Grant !ard presiding. The roll being called the following councilmen were found present: Dickens, Dunlap, Feuling, Hayman, Moore and Sutton. Vacation resolution. The resolution presented by T A 'Walters praying for the vacating of Plat of Cuppe addition was again presented and on motion by Dunlap seconded Dickens acme was adopted. The roll being called the result was as follows: Ayes, Dickens, Dunlap, Fouling, Hayman, Moore and Sutton. i 'ayes and absent, Ilona. The notice of the residents of Llitehells acreage west of town for withdrawal from the City was read and on motion of Dunlap seconded by Sutton the City Attorney was instructed to file protest with District Court. RESOLUTION The following resolution was intriduced. RESOLUTION No 1. 1919. A RESOLUTION PROVIDLIG FOR THHE C01IDEi,11lATI0N AJD REMOVAL OF CERTAIN SIDEWALKS ACCORDING TO ORDINANCENo. 266OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL? IDAHO. ALONG AND IN FROIIP OF CERTAIII LOTS AND BLOCKS IN SAID CITY. AND FROVIDING FOR THE PAYLMIT FOR THE REMOVAL OF SUCH CONDEIUMI) WALKS BY All.i ASSLMT LEVIED AND ASSESSED AGAINST THE PRO1 FRON.'ING AND ABUTT UG OB SAID SIDEWALKS. On motion Moore seconded by Hayma n that the resolution be adopted the roll being called the vote was as follows: Ayes, Dickens, Dunlap, Fouling, Hayman, Moore and Sutton. Noes and absent, none. The mayor announced that same had carried and the clerk was ordered to make proper record thereof. RESOLUTION No 2. 1919. A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF SIDEWALKS ACCORDING TO PLAN NO. 3,0RDLNANCE NO.148, AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 189 OF THE CITY OF CALDMML? IDAHO. ALONG AND IN FRONT OF CERTAIN LOTS ANE BLOCKS IN SLID CITY OF CALDIWELL- AND PROVIDING FOR THE tPAYMFMLQFzSUCH CONSTRUCTION CHARGES BY AN ASSESSMENT LEVIED AND ASSESSED AGAINST THE PROPERTY FRONTING AND ABUTTING ON SAID ORDINANCE. On motion Hayman seconded by Sutton that thm resolution be ad- opted, the roll being called the vote was as follows; Ayes, Dickens, Dunlap, n'euling, Moore, Hayman, Moore and Sutton. Nayes and absent. Nome. The mayor thereupon declared the motion carried and the clerk was Instructed to make proper record thereof. On motion Dickens seconded by Ddnlap the Fire Committee was instructed to lay in supply pf coal for next winter. On motion Hayman seoonde by Feulingthe City Engineer was grants d $250.00 per month from Tune let. and to continue during the construction of the paging, roll call resulted as follows; Ayes, Dickens, Dunlap, - 0 'euling, Hayman, Moore andizutton. Hayes and absent. None. On motion Sutton sefonded by Moore the Water committee was authorized to construct a buliding in the Memorial Park for the purpose of housing the city pump, Motion Hayman seconded by Dickens council adjourned till "hursday the 12th. 1819.
