Thi Council met in regulareession June let,1926 with Mayor Kaley, presiding, and Councilmen
Conley, tton, Kimhtau.gh, BGumford, MoOonnel, end Wheeler,present.
Minutal of previous sessions were read and on motion of Mumford, seconded by MoConnel, the
same were approved. _
Mrs. Marshall appeared before the Council and demonstrated the street markers she is Agent for
showing he same were of 20 Tauge Stesl,4 " X169 with a baked enamel surface that will not rust,
and Stated there would be needed 620 signs for streets having 8 or more names and 150 for
streets ving less than 8 names. It was voted on motion of Mumford, seconded by MoConnel, that
this mat Ur beb left to the Street Committeman for Investigation.
Hear Beck, Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners, appeared before the Council and
regneste the grading,of tho4setreet bordering on the Court House on Albany street, after
wbioh thi County would surface the same.This matter was left to the street `'ommitteemsn.
Hen33r Griffitha,cwner of Lots 1 -4 both inclusive in Block 68 Original Town, Neon which
the OityE Pest house , is located, requested the aancellation of his taxes as rental for the same.

1twas voted ab motion,of Kimbrough, awoonded by Dutton, that this matter be left to the Finance
Committee to report his findings back to the Council.
L.W.Caldwall inquired if anything had been done toward a crossing on 3rd Avenue and Chicago
Street, 85ying It wss,his beleif a man ands team with a 6foot the K" in diumter, could fix
the same z day, that would be passable.

THEREWITH was read for the first time. A motion was made by Kimbrough, seconded -by Conley,
that the ules requiring the reading of a bill on these separate days be suspended, and the Bill
be read t is second time by title and the third time in AL11 and plaoed on the final passage.

The Mayor caused the Clark th call the roll on the same with the following result:
AYES: COX XY DUTTON KIMBROUGH MUMFORD MOCON AND WHEELER.
NAYES AND ABSENT: NONE. 30 the Mayor declared the motion had carried and. the bill use read the
second time by title and the third time in full and the roll being called on the question as
put by the Mayor,Shall Bill 10.3 pass? the result was as follwe:

an additional 4* mill elayyto the to mills authorized by law, be called for June 23r&.1)25 at
8 o'clock P.M.
It was voted on motion of Wheeler, seconded by Mo that the bills as approved be
allowed and warrants ordered drawn on the various funds as followaJ
