A motion was made by Gartin that the rules be suspended and the readings on three separate days be dispensed with and that Bill No. 54 be read the second time by title and the third time in full and placed on its final passage. The roll being called on the motion, the vote reeulteda Ayes -- Clark, Dever&, Farrar, Gartin, Harris, Paynter - -6. Nay& and absent - -0. So the motion prevailed Bill No. 54 read second time by title. Bill No. 54 read third time in full and placed on its final passage. On the question, Shall Bill No. 54 pass? the roll being called, the vote reeulteda Ayes -- Clark, Devers, Farrar, Gartin, Harris, Payn6er - -6. Nay& and absent - -0. So Bill No. 54 passed becoming Ordinance No. 169. A motion was made by Farrar that t:he City Clerk be instructed to advertise for sale the Funding and Sewer Bonds ,just as soon as possible. The roll being called on the motion, the vote reeulteda Ayes -- Clark, Farrar, Harris, Paynter - -d. Nays-- Devers. Absent -- Gartin. So the motion prevailed. Voted, on motion of Farrar that Council adjourn until Monday, yay 30, 1910, at 8 P. taa. '7 O G Monday, May 30, 1910. Council met in regular session pursuant to adjournment.
