Councilman Surrell informed the Mayor and Council signs were to be placed at the Pose Carden prohibiting the picking of roses. The matter. of vacation pay for employees severingt-heir employment with the City was discussed by the Mayor and Council. Thereupon it was moved by Blomquist, seconded by Bettis that the City Attorney prepare the necessary papers to govern this matter. Upon Roll Call it appeared the motion was unanimously carried There being no further business to come before the Council it was moved by Fearich, seconded by Eggers that Council adjourn, Motion carried, i Mayor. I I ' I i t i The Council met pursuant to call and acknowledgment of notice in the follon ng forml CALL AND ACKAOWLEDGMENT OF NOTICE We the undersigned Mayor and Members of the City Council of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, do each hereby acknowledge notice of a special meeting of said City ''ouncil to be held at the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of Caldwell, Idaho, at the hour of 8:00 P. M. on the 26th day of May, 1953, for the transaction of all business in correction with the following objectr. Discussion "B" Residence Zone set back and 1953 -1954 Budget, which abject was submitted to each of the undersigned in writingo WITNESS our signatures this 28th, day of May 1953. -, /_7 � , �- i Mr. Martin Olsen met with the Mayor +d and discussed the proposed 1953 -1956 Budget. The request of Robert Alexanderson for a change in the Zoning Ordinance pertaining to set backs in "B" Residence-Zone on North -east side of Galveston Street from Boise Avenue to Kimball Avenue was again brought up for discussion. Whereupon it was moved by Blomquist, seconded by Councilman Eggers that the City Attorney prepare the necessary papers to amend the Zoning Ordinance. Upon Holl Call it appeared.the motion was unanimously carried. There being no further business to come before the Council it was moved by Councilman Fenrich, seconded by Councilman Weick that Council adjourn. Motion carried. City "lerk Mayor. COUNCIL CHAMBERS, JUKE 1, 1953, 6100 P. M. The Regular Monthly Meeting of the City Council met in the Council Rooms of the City Hall, with the Mayor Jason C. Smith presiding. Upon Roll Call the following Councilmen answered present: Fran blomquist, L. E. Burrell, Adolph Eggers, Ernest Weick, hale Fenrich and J. M. Bettis.
