The City Council met on call of the Mayor, with the Mayor Emery L. Vassar,

On Roll Call the following Councilmen answered present: Edgar L. Oakes, IT. S.
Boynton, F. D. Mumford, G. M. Fenrich and W.R. Hollingsworth. Absent: None.
The Mayor stated that this meeting was called to take up unfinished business.
Mr. F.G. Hoffman appeared before the Council and asked that delinquent taxes be

cancelled on Block 102, Lots 13 -14 and 15 /belonging to Mrs. Geo Bartlett. The matter was
left on the table.
The Mayor stated that owing to the absence of P. A. Martinets attorney, S. Ben
Dunlap, his case would be posponed until the next council meeting.
Mr. Emery Bales asked that the Council consider a 10% adjustment of city employ-
ees salaries. The Mayor assured Mr. Bales that this would be cansidered.
The Mayor appointed Councilmen Edgar L. Oakes and F. D. Mumford on the Spray
Canmittee.
The Mayor and Council discussed the matters of painting the water tank but ar-
rived at no decision.
There being no further business to come before the Council, it was, on motion
duly seconded and carried, declared adjourned.

MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL
The City Council of the City of Caldwell, Canyon County, State of Idaho, met
in regular session of said City Council on the 3rd day of June, 1935 at the hour of
8 otclock, P. M. said meeting being at the time to which the City Council adjourned its
regular meeting held on the 6th day of May, 1935 in the City Hall at said City.
The meeting was called to order by the Mayor and the roll call showed the
following present, to -wit:
Mayor: E. L. Vassar
Members of the Council: F.D. Mumford, W.S. Boynton, Q.W. Montgomery
G. M. Fenrich and W.R. Hollingsworth.
Absent: Edgar L. Oakes
City Clerk: O.E.Fritts
It appearing that there was a quorum of the City Council present, the Mayor
declared the meeting opened for business.
Therefore, the City � read the minutes of the Council meetings of May 6th
and 27th, which were approved as read.
The Mayor announced that the first matter of business would be the opening

and consideration of the bids for the purchase of #41,000600 refunding bonds', which had
been made a special order of business for this meeting by the City Council at its meeting
of May 6, 1935, and that notice requesting bids for the purchase of said bonds had been
duly advertised, as required by law, said bids to be filed ;lth the City Clerk up to 8 I
o'clock, P. M, of this day.
Thereupon the Mayor inquired of the City Clerk if there were any bids on file
