On motion Sutton seconded by F all bids were referree to the
City Attorney and Engineer for investigation and report.
The motion of Dunlap that the Council accept the proposition ifff
Mr Kelsey as consulting Engineer on Strrest Paving failed of a second.
The Chief of the Fire Department asked the whether or not he had
the backing and support of the Council in the enforcement of the Ordinance
in regard to oleaning up the streets and alleys and fire prevention and
on motion of Sutton seconded by Feeling it was nnanamously noted to
sustain the Chief.
Motion Sutton seconded by Fouling board adjourned.

COUNCIL CHAMBERS MAY 25. 1920
Council met in special session pursuant to call of the Mayor.
Council man Hayman presiding present Dickens, Dunlap, Fouling
absent Moore and Sutton. Mayors call read as follows;

Dear Sir;
You are hereby requested to call a special meeting of the City
Council Tuesday May the 25, at 8 o'clock P M for the purpose of considering
the advisability and appointing if deemed advisable of a Consulting 7ngineer
and ?nspeaior fc . !I. treat k'aviugBai zu.: :aidiaration of anyother
matters relative to said paving.

Motion was made by Dunlap and seconded by Dickens that the
proposition of Ayr L C Kelsey for supervising Engineer at a price of 1-J per
cent on the uncompleted portion of the paving be accepted and that the Mayor
and City Cler be authorised to enter into contract with Mr Kelsey. on the
roll being called the vote was as follows;
Ayes; Dickens, Dunlap, Fouling Hayman.
Absent Sutton Moore.
There being no further business board adjourned.
