The Acting 64ayor also informed Mr. Ladwig that if he wished further information he would have to consult Mayor Leo J. Mason. There being no f:fither business to come before the Council it was moved by Councilmaf Fenrich, i seconded by Councilman Harding, that Council adjourn. Motion ca ried. The Council met pursuant to Call and Acknowledgement of Notice in the following form: We, the und:rsitned Mayor and members f the Oity Council of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, do each hereby acknowledge Notice of a special meeting of said City Council to be hel at the Council Chambers, in the City Hall in the City of Caldwell, Idaho, at the hour of 8:00 ?. M. on the 23rd, day of Way, 1949, for the transaction of all business in connection with the following objects Opening of bide on the airport lighting system, which object was submitted to each of the undersigned in writing. E. Burrell, John Yyers, Fan 31or-:quist, Cale Fenrich and Bryan Harding, The Mayor informed the iouncil this aas the time set by notice for opening of bids for tha in- i stallaticn of an airport lightinb system. The following bids were opened and read: The American Electric Co., 3 9,330.20 The City Electric oo., ?,789.10 C � sr. S. M. Barton informed t &yor an.; Council the lowest bid was over the estimated cost of the lighting system and that an additi grant if federal funds would have to be obtained. Moved by Dyers, seconded by Blomquist that the bid of the City Electric Co., of Boise, Idaho, be accepted, provided, the Civil Aeronautics Administration approves un increase in the grant of federal funds.'I Upon Roll Call it appeared the motion was unanimously carried. - The Mayor read a letterfrom Dunlap & Dunlap stating that E. F. Hastriter desired to purchase part of Lot 5, Section 10, Township L North, Range 3 W. B. M. owned by the City of Caldwell. i Moved by Blomquist, seconded by Byers that the City hold this property as a future road site. Upon Roll it appeared the motion was unanimously carried.
