A letter was read from the Idaho Fewer Co. submitting prices on three Electric Plates for uae at Tourist Park and the cost of opergting same per XTI hour. The matter of - squiping tjse Tourist Park Cabins was f'eferred to Councilman Hoffman. It was suggested that the Layor issue a Proolaimation designating May 11th as Boise Valley Day conforming to the suggestion of Ilayor LIeffin of Nampa. Frank Feuling appeared before the Council asking for permission to erect a stand on the Tourist Park grounds. The matter was taken under consideration. A letter written by Grace hlilliner, Manager of the General Hospital, was read, asking that a "Quiet Zone" be estnblised near the Iospital. The letter was ordered pliced on Tile. A. Witteman asked permission to haul sand on Linden Street between Indiana and Cleveland Streets at 50� per load. The permission was granted. C. R. T1 asked permission to erect a store building on the Tourist Park that he „rounds. Miter some disouasioa it was suggested by the Mayor get the attitude of the Retail Merchants association before the matter was decided. motion was made and unanimously carried, t'lat a tote of thanks be extended to J. 3. Brown, I,Ianager of the Dairyman's Cc- operative Creamery for the delicious Ice Cream that refreshed the members of the Council.
