On Roll Call the following voted in favor of the Motions Ayes Mason, Glaisyer, Burrell, borers,
Fenrich and 'larding. Nays None. Absent and not voting s None.
Thereupon the Mayor declared the motion carried.
Contract for audit of City Books and Records was presented from Martin Olson, Jr.

Moved by Harding, sedonded by Were that this contract be accepted. Motion carried.
Moved by Burrell, seconded by Mason that the contract entered into by the former Council with
the General Appraisal Co , be approved. Motion carzded.
Councilman narding informed the Mayor and Council tha', the Road Department was in need of a new
grader, also, that the olf Austin Western Grader could be turned in and $1200 applied against the purchase
price of a new grader.
The Mayor authorised Councilman to trade -in the oldgrader provided deliver of a new grader could be
made within bo or 90 days.
Moved by Harding, secondedtV Burrell that Councilman Fenrich be authorized to purchase a ew truck
for the Irrigation Department. Motion carried. j
There being no further business to comebefore the Council, it was moved by Councilman Mason,
secondedby Councilman Myers that Council adjourn. Motion carried.

the City Hall in the City of Caldwell, Idaho, at the hour of 8300 o'clock P. M., on the 19th., day of May
1947, for the transaction of all business in connection with the following object: Checking petitions on
Robse Bill No 148 passed by the 29th Session of the Legislature regarding liquor by the drink, which object
has been submitted to each of the undersigned In-writing.

On Roll Call the following Councilmen answered presents Wm Glaisyer, L. E.Burrell, John Myers, Dale
enrich and Bryan Harding. Absents Leo J. Mason.
— The Council net and considered the petitions filed in accordance with Section 17 of House Bill
'No. 148 of the 29th Session of the 1947 Legislature of the State of Idaho. An examination of these petitions
j !disclosed them to be insufficient and not signed by the required percentage of the registered, qualified
electors of the City of Caldwell making necessary an election to determine whether or not liquor would be
��eold by the drink within the City of Caldwell.
k There being no further business to come before the Council it was moved by Councilman Glaisyer
'..seconded by Burrell that Council adjourn. Motion carried.
