Motiom made by Sutton and seconded by Feuling that the City Engineer
make measurements and surveys preparatory to establishing permanent
width of Indian Creek.
80eolutions No 1 and 2 by Dickens was presented;
A resolution condemning old sideway and the constructing of
new walk and on motion g� Hayman seconded by Sutton was unanimously
adopted.
The matter of pipe for the Cemetery was referred to the Cam. com-
mittee with power to act.
On motion Moore seconded by Sutton the City Attorney was
instructed to prepare ordinance creating curbing district
to include the fallowing streets; Albany 8, to 14. .Belmont 7, to 14.
Chicago 7, to 14. Denver 7, to 14.
On motion Dunlap seconded by Fouling the C Engineer was
instructed to secure estimates for curbing on Dearborn Streets from
20th, to Paynter Avenue.
Clerk was instructed to have published call for bide for the
construction of Sewers in Districts No 7 and 8.
There t no further business Council adjourned to May 17.

COUNCIL CHAMBERS MAY 17. 1920
Council met pursuant to adjournment with H H Hayman president of
the council acting Mayor
The following Councilmen were present4 Dickens, Dunlap F#mlimgh
Moore and Button.
W L Hasbrouck appeared before the Council protesting against the
grade on South Kimball and on motion Sutton seconded by Dunlap the Mayor
appointed Street Committee to investigate.
PSr C 17 %endgll representing the Union Metal Cc presented a prop-
osition for Cluster Lagting and on motion Dunlap seconded by Sutton same
was taken undre advisement by the Council.
Hoy Nelson made a proposition to sell the City a Bock Cneher
and on motion Sutton seconded by Fouling the Mayor appointed a committee
of threes consisting of Dickens, Sutton and Dunlap to investigate with
power to purchase.
Bids for the oonetraotion of Sewers Ro 7 and S were opened with
the following results;

On motion Sutton seconded by F all bids were referree to the
City Attorney and Engineer for investigation and report.
The motion of Dunlap that the Council accept the proposition df
Mr Kelsey so consulting Engineer on Strreet Paving failed of a second.
The Chief of the Fire Department asked the whether or not he had
the be.oking and support of the Couno&l in the enforcement of the Ordinance
in regard to cleaning up the streets and alleys and fire prevention and
on motion of Sutton seconded by Fouling it was unanamously toted to
sustain the Chief.
Motion Sutton seconded by Fouling board adjourned.

CUNCIL CHAMBERS MAY 25. 1920
Council met in special session pursuant to call of the Mayor.
Council man Hayman presiding present Dickens, Dunlap, Fouling
absent Moore and Sutton. Mayors call read as follows;

You are hereby requested to call a special meeting of the City
Council Tuesday May the 25, at 8 o'clock P M for the purpose of considering
the advisability and appointing if deemed advisable of a Consulting ; ngineer

matters relative to said paving.

Motion was made by Dunlap and seconded by Dickens that the
proposition of Mr L C Kelsey for supervising Engineer at a price of li- per
cent on the uncompleted portion of the paving be accepted and that the Mayor
and City Cler be authorised to enter into contract with Mr Kelsey. on the
roll being called the vote was as follows;
Ayes; Dickens, Dunlap. Fouling Hayman.
Absent Sutton Moore.
There being no further business board adjourned.
