Monday evening May I2, I9I3. Council met in regular session pursuant to
adjournment with Wagor C.H.Turner, presiding, and Councilmen Ackley, Adams, Boone,
and Steunenberg , present; 9.Ben Dunlap, clerk, when the following business was
transacted.
Voted, on motion of Boone, that W.E.Parker act as persident of the
council for the present term.
Voted, on motion of Steunenberg, that W.E.Parker and Mrs. C.A. Philpot
be appionted to fill the vacancies on the library board.
Pond of Swain Beaty , in the amount of $I,000, as supertLntendent of
water works, in the United States Fidelity and Guaranty Company, was approved.
Bond of john W.Ross, in the amount of $250, as sexton of the cemetry,

Councilman Steubenbarg stated that the Hartenbower brothers had taken
up with him the matter of inererteing the flow of the city welle,claiming such
