ant with Mayor Keley, presiding,eou oilmen, Conley, Ihxtton, Kimbrongh, Mumford, Mcconnel,
nd Wheeler, present.
RESOLUTION 140. 26, BY DUTTON, WAS PRESENTED AS FO LOWS;
WHEREAS, by previous resolutions, the City of Caldwell has agreed to cooperate
ith the State of Idaho in the construction of Federal Aid Project No. 86 -3, portions
f which lie within the incorporated limits of said city, and,
WHEREAS, present laws of Idaho prohibit expehditure of State Highway Funds for
intenance puprosea within a municipality of more than 2500 population,
NOi TH.EREF03E, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Cou cil of Caldwell that the said City
ill maintain at the expense of the said City, either,by itself or in cooperation with
he State of Idaho to the standards of maintenance required by the Secretary of Agricuture
c Federal Aid projects ,those pprtiona of these projects within the City limits, and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that on failure of i eldwell to prvide adequate maintenance the
apartment of Public forks of the State of Idaho is hereby authroized to enter the City
Caldwell and provide for such maintenance and cost of same shall be a valid charge
;aiaat the City of Caldwell.
A motion was made by Conley, seconded by ''lheeler,that h esolution No. 26 be adopted. c`

A motion was made by Conley, seconded by Dutton, that the Mayor and Council arrange
o borrow to the beat advantage in order to purchase a Grdder and Tractor and necessary
pairs for the Fire Department. The Iayor caused the Clerk to m 11 the roll on the
